This market will settle to Yes if the total number of confirmed Cyclosporiasis cases acquired in the United States since May 1, 2026 is greater than 5000 at any point by August 31, 2026, 11:59PM ET. Outcome sourced from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The applicable count will be the count of confirmed Cyclosporiasis cases acquired in the United States reported on the CDC Surveillance of Cyclosporiasis page (see: https://www.cdc.gov/cyclosporiasis/php/surveillance/index.html).
Note: Only cases reported by the CDC as confirmed domestically acquired cases of Cyclosporiasis will qualify, regardless of reports from U.S. State agencies or other sources. Travel-associated cases acquired outside the United States will not qualify.
